If you are adding a puppy to your family I am guessing you have already been given quite a bit of advice from well meaning friends and family, and it is probably conflicting advice in many cases?! Coupled with the information you have gleaned from books and online, it can start to feel overwhelming and confusing. You know that your puppy's formative months will pass quickly and you are determined to get it right.. but it is hard to know which guidance is correct. You have a puppy expert all to yourselves for an hour, Helen has been a specialist puppy trainer for more than 20 years, and will give you guidance that truly works, bust the common myths and misconceptions, and help you to know exactly what you need to do to give your puppy the very best start in life. The session is yours so will cover everything you would like, and can include for example:- - Advice on choosing the right breed for you, and selecting a puppy from the litter - Practical preparations needed for you home, garden and car - Shopping; what is essential and what really isn't (despite what you've been told) - How to handle the journey home and the first night - Sleeping arrangements - settling your puppy into a routine - Nutrition; We can chat through the best options and what to look for - Toilet training - puppy pads? bells? get up in the night? how to get the fastest results - Toys and chews - what do you actually need and what really works - Introductions to children and family pets - friends from the start - Socialisation and vaccinations - where can you safely take you puppy and when to begin Whether this is your first ever puppy, or you are an experienced dog owner who just hasn't had a puppy for a while, this session is a huge confidence boost as well as definitely saving you ££ on things you don't need.
